We launched DoorDash’s new red delivery bags with a fun stunt.
No billboards. No media buy. Just one little bag that looked like it was about to fall off a car.
The behavioral experiment had a very high positive interaction rate with pedestrians and other traffic in the city, proving that people still care enough to help one another.
We gave gift cards to people who intervened, and QR codes on the bag led to the DoorDash deals page.
With 16 magnetically attached DoorDash delivery bags, we turned the most recognizable object in food delivery into an ad people couldn’t ignore.
